United Way

United Way France

United Way France is a non-profit organization that mobilizes local economic, political and social leaders to build collective impact programs enabling disadvantaged youth to develop to their best potential and remain active and engaged members of society.

United Way France’s initiative focuses on tutoring, mentoring and inspiring vulnerable middle and high school students, showing them the importance of education and local inclusion by introducing them to the professional world so that they can explore their career ambitions and develop the qualities and competencies leading to successful academic and professional lives.

Part of the international network of the United Way, United Way Tocqueville was established in France in 2008 and works in Paris and Toulouse for disadvantaged teens. In the 2014/2015 school year, 770 teens were mentored by 210 volunteers in 6 regional programmes orchestrated by United Way France.
